Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 21, 2026, as we gather once again at Rhode Island College to celebrate a decade of empowering educators, students, and local leaders with the tools to build stronger financial futures.

With Rhode Island’s high school graduation requirements for financial literacy firmly in action, there has never been a more critical time to share resources, spark collaboration, and expand financial awareness across our communities. Whether you are returning for your tenth year or joining us for the first time, this milestone event promises fresh insights, innovative workshops, and incredible networking opportunities.

Event Details

  • When: Saturday, November 21, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Where: Rhode Island College – Alger Hall
  • Cost: FREE to attend (but registration is required and space is limited!)
  • Who Should Attend: K–12 and higher-ed educators, non-profit organizers, government officials, youth advocates, librarians, parents, veterans, and anyone passionate about financial literacy.

What to Expect This Year

  • 8 PD Hours Credited: Educators will receive 8 professional development hours for attending the full conference. Letters of participation will be provided directly by the RI Council for Economic Education to fulfill your certification requirements.
  • Innovative Workshops: Deep dives into timely topics, including navigating the economy, modern tools in personal finance, and effective classroom strategies.
  • Interactive Panels & Exhibits: Discussions tailored to the unique educational needs of K–16 students and adult learners alike.
  • Professional Development Credits: Free PD opportunities for educators, complete with letters of participation provided by the RI Council for Economic Education.
  • Regional Collaboration: While centered right here in Rhode Island, we are excited to welcome educators and presenters from across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the greater Southern New England area.
