The 2024 RI Finance Challenge and 2024 RI EconChallenge websites allowed RI high school and middle school teachers to log in and register as many teams of 3-4 students as they’d like. These exciting competitions were offered online and free of charge for all RI high school and middle school students, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Fidelity Investments and CFA Society Providence, respectively.

The online testing dates for the 2024 RI Personal Finance Challenge were March 11-April 12, 2024, and the online testing dates for the 2024 RI Econ Challenge were also March 11-April 12, 2024.

A statewide awards ceremony is scheduled for May 31, 2024 at Citizen’s Bank headquarters in Johnston to recognize RI students, teachers, and schools for their outstanding performance in these Challenges. In addition, the 2024 National Personal Finance Challenge is providing an opportunity for the 1st place RI high school state winner North Kingstown High School with teacher Richard Garland to advance to the Nationals, which will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland May 19-20, 2024.
